In this series, through Field Notes, profiles and short films on veterans, we hope to tell the story of Miramar National Cemetery. Located near Scripps Ranch, a neighborhood in northern San Diego, Miramar National Cemetery had served as an Army training, mobilization, and air squadron groups in WWI, WWII, and Vietnam War before becoming a National Cemetery in 2008. Veteran Documentary Corps shot these films in late April 2019 as part of our partnership with the National Cemetery Administration.
