Established as a national cemetery in 1936, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery is located in San Antonio, Texas adjoining the Fort Sam Houston Military Post. Aubrey David, the Cemetery Director, shares his passion for commemorating the lives of veterans and the families who honor them. Most monuments at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery commemorate soldiers of the 20th-century wars.
